I am not hunting opener, but waiting to hear if the guy at work can get a group together for a hunt soon, hopefully. Got a turkey date lined up, but hoping to get dove lined up as well...which might end up a quail day if few opt for dove... I guess I'm still excited with all the opportunity this month, I want to hunt coyote as well somewhere. ETA: I only became a hunter in September when I got 2 dove so I'm still newb at all this hunting fun.

Skipping it. First opener was horrible for me.

Getting a couple of turkeys this weekend.

Can’t choose between dove and pheasant, duck or yellowtails. Going to have to choose tomorrow.

Thinking about hunting second opener. First one - when down to Brawley,
to combat shooting. Must of been 50 guys in this one field. Looking for
someplace closer, but don't need to shoot on opening day. I'll wait for
the weekday vs weekend..

I haven't been seeing any doves flying out here and we had great shoots during opening !

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

I think I might head to a local spot in the morning. It shot well in first season.

Turned into a Eurasian hoedown in Clarksburg. I saw exactly four Mournings, but shot 11 Eurasians that included 2 lost. All shots taken between 3 and 4 pm. It was 83 degrees at 345 this afternoon. Beautiful day.
