Default Pics of your kids shooting

Posting pics of kids and guns on the internet may be considered taboo for some, but I'm proud of my kid and the interest he has in shooting and hunting. I'm glad my interest in the outdoors has sparked in him.

At 11yo, my son and I shoot at least weekly. If we're not practicing marksmanship skills with a .22 in the backyard on Friday afternoons, we're out at the range on weekends working on target transition or shooting clays. He really wants to shoot in a father/son 3-gun tournament in June.

Let's see some pics of your youngin's at the range.

Glock 23 with a LW 9mm barrel. He prefers the mouse fart loads for now. Bangin' plates at 15 yards. Yeah, we're still working on the grip thing.

He's been a very good shot with a .22 bolt gun since he was 4 years old. We'd shoot at reactive targets like balloons, 1 liter Coke bottles, golf balls... etc. He wouldn't touch a .223/5.56 for anything until this year. "Too much recoil, dad." I didn't argue, figured that when he was ready, he'd do it. This range trip was the day after he first came to watch me shoot a 3-gun match. Now he's hooked.

His first shots out to 100 yards with the AR. The dots are covering my wife's handiwork. He was very proud of the fact that he outshot his mom. We moved over to the 100 yard gong when we were done here. We're going back today to work on hitting 12" steel at 200.

Lucerne Valley. My 7 year old loves shooting his M&P 15-22, one of my best buys. Sorry for the crappy photo.

I shoot USPSA matchs and also do a lot of photography. I have a lot of photos of kids shooting USPSA matches. I don't post them on my Flickr though. I have emailed the parents copies though. I've never thought to ask if I can post them.

Took my daughter to the Range today to shoot my handgun for the first time, she's turns 13 in July.

Local range has an age limit of 14 in order to shoot handguns. So range trip was not as good as planned.

Should have done more research.

We been shooting rifles at Laguna Seca since she was 10.

My kids started shooting at 4 and 5, but I am not going to post pics of them. Same reason I am not on facebook.

Our 14 year old daughter is coming along nicely.

Ruger 22/45 and a 1911 .22 conversion, I'll move her up to mouse fart .38 using a big old Dan Wesson.

She's been to a couple local shoots. Her targets hang behind me in my YouTube videos.

But I won't post photos, either.

Hello All,
The first photo is of my 2nd amendment loving son shooting his Savage 93 17HMR and the second is of his new Rem SPS 308 build.

Also, here's a video of him shooting one of our AR's. There are more videos on my youtube channel.

These are from some time ago.
The 1st rifle I doubt anyone here in Cali would be familiar with it as it is belt fed and full auto , not to mention the shoulder thing that goes up......

And a little training with something more Cali approved

The kid "not mine" that I married........

A few when he was younger... shots with the vest are during his NRA classes.

The one with the AR is shooting tin cans up at Los Gatos Rod and Gun.

My kids aren't old enough to go shooting with me yet. But I can't wait until that day comes.

Not the best idea to post pics of your kids online. Too many creeps troll all the boards. FB is another privacy disaster waiting to happen, just TMI. A those stick figures of your family on the back window of your SUV, another not so good idea.

I mean, yeah, there are. But at some point, you just have to enjoy your life. I am not living my life in seclusion. I mean, to your point, having an online presence, period is a bad thing.

I can't help it if some dude decides to fap at my picture, but sure as hell if they try it in person, some one is going to have a bad day.
