Scope ring recoil lugs. Which is better? Integrated or cross bolt?
I'm trying to choose a set of rings for my tactical lever build. I'm looking at aluminum rings from Vortex and Warne. Vortex uses an integrated recoil lug machined into the ring and 2 clamp screws and Warne uses a steel cross bolt as a recoil lug and clamp screw in one. They both do the same thing, just a different approach. I'm just curious if one is ultimately better than the other and why and which type do you prefer?
