Up to 5 sighting shots and 20 shots for record slow fire, prone position. 25 minute time limit. Stage 2. 10 shots rapid fire, prone position (from standing). Stage 4. 10 shots slow fire, standing position. 10 minute time limit. AK's, Steyr AUG's, Sig 556's, H&K 91's, standard M1A's as well as stock AR-15 and M-4 Carbine clones would compete as Modern Military Rifles category. 2016 CMP rules now include caliber .223 AR type rifles with up to 4.5x optics and weighing up to 8.5 pounds in The Modern Sporting Rifle category A. Accurized Service Rifles (M-14/M1A and M-16/AR-15) and NRA/ISU Match Rifles are not eligible to compete. Shooters firing ineligible rifles can qualify for clinic completion certificates but will otherwise be firing for practice only.) Scores reporting to CMP Official CMP scorecards will be used. Any center-fire high power rifles complying with CMP Rule 6.2 may be used to fire the match. Caliber .30-'06 ammo may also be purchased for use in the match. All competitors must use shooting glasses and hearing protectors. A shooting coat is recommended. Shooting mats will be provided. Match fee is $17.00 for non-members, $7.00 for BRRC members. Bring your own safe ammo or club M1 ammo is available for use in match only. M1 Ammunition cost is $30.00 Bring water and a snack. There are no concessions at the range. Competitors are required to perform scoring duties and to operate the targets in the pits for each other. Matches typically run until 11 with two relays.
The range is BYO-X. Bring what you need. I might be out of 308 so will likely have to shoot my as-issued gun or bring out the Springfield.

Ok people...... I was asked to "PIMP" this match. So I now going too:
To Mr.100, NO there are no "F"ing "concession stands" at the range, just come out and shoot. If your lucky Brandi will not make you her Beyoch. To the rest of the Calgun Hard Chargers.... BRING IT! this can be shot as a 30 or 50 shot match

Last minute addition: My dad is shooting with us. Putting him on the A course but bringing enough ammo for B.
I found enough 308 so I'm bringing that rifle for me. See you all tomorrow.

We had a great group of competitors braving the heat. Considering the heat , B game was good! Another plus, it was a good start at conditioning for the Western Games in AZ.
