And a 15 round magazine?

I was more shocked about that then the green cup. I personally belong to the cult of blue cup.

WTF is the cup for anyways? I noticed that when I opened my wife's. It stayed in the original case with the helmet lock and the gun and mags went into our normal locking pistol case.

It's a multi-use tool: jello mold, cookie cutter, ear plug holder, etc...

The comp can be found by a seller on the beretta forums. It's in the style of the original 80's SGS compensator.

The M9 is my utilitarian toy, I have several ways to customize it and generally just beat the crap out of it!

I like your style. I believe I'm the only person to try to order one from Beretta. The guy at BerettaUSA said he'd worked there for 11 years, and I was the first to try to order one, so he sent me the one on his desk... gratis..... no cost, no shipping...

The cult of green cup is a fringe breakaway subgroup of the cult of blue cup. No mainstream blue cup member would dare be caught with a green cup.

Punishment when caught?

Talking

But you can't have it both ways - either you go Blue or lose a chance of winning this - the 'Beretta Cup' trophy... And yes, it is real, and I own one. Hard to believe, but it is true.

I only have two, both very early models

My first beretta - a 92F with "Accura-Ring" comp

Then I added an Inox (USA made because I couldn't find an Italian at the time). Then the opportunity came up to by a new/vintage Italian (straight dustcover, no warnings on frame) so I picked that up.

and recently the opportunity came up to pick up something that i've wanted for a loooong time -- a billennium

So now the family looks like this:

you could say I like Berettas

It's an SGS style compensator. There's a guy on Berettaforums that sells them. It fits great and is very well-made. My only complaint is that the screw is stainless steel. I dropped my screw off to get powder-coated black today.

The intent is to reduce recoil. But they look badarse, but take some maintenance... And won't fit in a holster...

I have to second the comment about the high quality photos you guys are taking!
Anyway, I purchased a used 92SB compact type M, and I love it. It's the sweetest shooter I own.
