Default Any Lee Pro 100 experts in O.C.?

I thought I had it setup right but damn if I can only rarely get it to push the primer in! There doesn't seem to be any issue with the primers feeding. I've read quite a few how-to's (from xdtalk and sanfranciscoliberalwithagun) but I'm just not getting it. Anyone in/around Orange County that wouldn't mind showing me the right way to get this going?

Also I broke that chain a couple times so does anyone use something different?

Each cycle you pull the handle back and the shell plate goes up. Then when it is all the way down you push forward and that drives in the primer. Not hard of course.

thanks. I knew that but for some reason it's not pushing the primer in except maybe 1 time out of 10. I'm guessing something's wrong but since it occasionally has worked I'm not sure. That's why I was hoping for someone to either show me on theirs or mine.

Sounds to me like your shell plate alignment might be slightly off. Double-check your "Zero Adjustment Screw" to make sure things are aligned up right.

Is the primer starting to enter the primer pocket correctly, i. e. in line, and after then you simply cannot push the primer the rest of the way? Or is it acting differently?

As for that chain, I think it's in Part 6 or 7 of my video series where we go into how to adjust it properly so it doesn't break. I broke one exactly once, and that was my fault. Some folks also use mini bungee cords instead, with reports of good success.

Thanks T. I do have all your videos and I watched the one about reassembly but apparently not well enough. I will check the plate and watch them again. The primer does get pushed up when I cycle the handle w/o a case in it but it doesn't get pushed into the case. So I'll put 1 case in and after it rotates from the next pull, the primer is still there along w/ the next one.

Not familiar with that press, but on the Dillon's, if the shellplate is loose it will not hold the cases down during the priming stage and the entire case will rise up instead of the primer getting pushed into the case. Make sure your shellplate is screwed down so that it is free enough to spin and not more.
