Default Golf and Carry

How do you guys golf while carrying?

My outfits tend to be lighter-weight stretchy type material, and the shirt is always tucked in and tends to hug the body a bit more than a normal shirt. Not a lot of opportunity for a cover garment.

Any tips or tricks? (for carrying, my golf game sucks and nothing you say will make it better! lol)

Never tried so I'm no help. I just tuck it in the bag. And don't let the bag out of my sight.

I think in the Tom Clancy books, they call them F.A.G. Bags:

Fast Action Gun Bag

My skinny stretch polyester golf pants would print. My huge white golf belt with oversized gaudy designer buckle is not rated to support a pistol. I don’t think any handgun would stay put on my body due to the massive coiled backswing, which unleashes with great fury as I dribble 170 yard drives and beautifully fat, weak, sliced iron shots.

If I ever felt the NEED to carry on a course.

Have you tried golfing on the underground courses? Their a little darker than the outside courses and it would make it hard to notice if you're printing.

Though since Boomer's is closing I'm going to have to find a new course to play.

Why are you still playing golf?

Hit the ball away from you and then go find it.

Get another sport.

Watching stuff fly through the air after you caused it to happen is cool.

yeah I just bag it at the golf course, and I don't leave it sitting outside on a a rack for any length of time, and never let it out of your sight.

I was playing the 9 hole course Campus Commons in Sacramento a couple months ago. It runs along the Sacramento River. Some homeless Meth addict crawled from the bushes and started walking around cursing at everyone and walking up looking for a fight. He got right up in our faces, fortunately I had heard him coming so I had pulled my shield out of my bag and had my hand on it in my pocket. He just made a bunch of noise and walked away, but it could have gone bad. This is why I ALWAYS carry EVERYWHERE. I assume nowhere is completely safe.

It is time for some innovative golf equipment company to reintroduce a bag with an onboard keg and integrated radio. Hydraulic club launcher as well. It should be really heavy and obnoxious looking.

I donít golf, but I would say I am one of Ďthose peopleí that carry all the time outside of when I go to the gym. If I am doing something where I am wearing athletic clothing and canít pocket or belt carry (like a 25 mile mountain bike ride) Iíll just
Throw a full-size pistol in a holster in a backpack with a small bottle of water and a first aid kit.

Who would you expect to shoot on a golf course?

Always golf in foursomes. One golfs, the others provide security. Take turns. If possible have a crew mounted weapon system in your cart.

there is absolute no need to carry while golfing, you're gonna end losing track of your gun. Plus don't you ladies drink while golfing? keep it locked in vehicle. no i don't carry when i golf.. biking, skating, dirtbiking yes.

The best golf rounds are on those rare days where the course is empty and it is just you or with one other person who you are playing a twosome with. No mindless banter with strangers, no traffic jam at the next hole, no one behind hitting into your area or rushing you.

And of course being able to stop at the turn and get refreshments without other groups going around you. A jam packed golf course is pure torture, especially when there are lots of beginners with no golf etiquette.

one of my bets buddies about 20 years ago had his forearm broken from a foursome fight . The jackasses on next hole came at them with golf clubs, he shielded the blow with arm..broken,.

It definitely was no Bushwood.

When I used to play it would go in my golf bag, next to my collapsible fishing rod for the ponds

When I was in High School I stored a rifle (parents knew nothing about it) in my golf bag with the 3 wood cover over the muzzle.
