I like small guns, so two of these count for style points alone.

PS I have to learn to use this camera someday.

My brand new Springfield Pro LR.

I had to sell a rifle to get this. And it hurt. But this pistol was worth the pain and all the nagging from the wife. And it's pretty cool.

No, it's a Springfield Professional PC9111LR.

I know what you're thinking, the "Operator" rollmark is in place of the "Professional" rollmark because the light rail was not in the FBI's original contract for the pistol. Therefore the pistol cannot have the "PROFESSIONAL" stamp.

Another.

AMT Hardballer
Colt .22lr Conversion upper. I even have the original box for the upper.

It really deserves a better frame, but that's all I have for now...

Good looking guns.
How much maintenance did your Kimber require during the 130k rounds? That's a lot of rounds. I love my Kimbers.

Default kimber maintainance to 130k rds

ZERO! with the exception of regularly replacing springs as per guidelines and cleaning her nothing broke, nothing wore funny, worked like a friggin rolex, i guess the MIMber is solid huh! and guess what I had 5, count em 5 malfunctions in 130k rds...2 directly attributed to crap mags from a gunshow and 1 due to firing hornady bullseye ammo which is a semi wad cutter after a 1000rd range session without cleaning the day I bought her. at 130k I replaced the barrel to be nice to her and the nowlin produced 5 malfs in 100rds so I swapped the old barrle back and she runs like a friggin rolex again. The nowlin now lives in a caspain I built.

You mean 'worked like a friggin Omega Speedmaster'.

Rolex movements frequently goof up without regular maintenance by certified magical repair elves.

My one and only 1911. Made in 1913. US NAVY issue.

I'm looking into buying a Springfield TRP when some funds come together.

She is stunning. There is something about the original lines of an old 1911 that makes me wanna shed a tear. I would be honored if I did an action job on such a beautiful gun.

Here is a row of .45 magazines that were with the pistol in my grandmothers attic when the pistol was found. Some are vintage 1916-1917 due to them being pinned yet lacking the lanyard loop. others are WW2 era.

edit: oh yeah.... the Ammo in those mags is 50 years old also. hehe.

I'll check out the ammo and shoot a photo or two for ya when I go shooting next. Everything is locked away in a nice secure safe at my parents house. I only keep my XD-9mm on hand in case someone decides to come visit me in the middle of the night for a good case of lead poisoning.
