Default Union Station LA

I searched but didn't see anything about concealed carry at Union Station in LA. Are we GTG at the train station. Not going to board a train the wife wants to see Union Station.

youll have no problem walking around union station, once you go towards turnstiles they have an occasional mobile detection scanner. I havent seen it in a while.

I've carried there and had no problems except one time when an eagle eyed security guard saw my gun when I exited my vehicle and my jacket swept to 1 side. He approached me calmly and asked if I was carrying a firearm and I identified myself as a police officer. No problems. I went on my way.

Default Union Station LA

I commuted theough there nearly every day for all of 2016 and most of 2017. “Heavy” police presence on occasion, like after the Paris attacks and such but I never once saw any wands or detectors. I have no idea whether carrying in the station is prohibited by a sign, but I wouldn’t expect any problems.
