Hi All,

They ran a similar deal a while back.

Why not? You can take the ammo upon purchase.

Just be aware, mine took some massaging with a round file to get the takedown and pivot pins to fit. It did make for a pretty light .22lr with the Chiappa M4-22 upper I put on it.

Yeah, they are prob trying to avoid doing an ammo back ground check and a reg dros. You do save a buck tho.

That makes no sense...if you pass the instant ammo background check and leave with it what is turners loss? If you fail the DROS they keep the lower. What’s their reasoning here?

Pick up day tomorrow for me at Turner's. Maybe I'll scope this out. I'm not too interested in the polymer lower but the price on the 7.62x39 is very interesting.

These definitely go together better than the stupid ati lower I had. Also local company(placenta) and lifetime warranty if anything goes wrong

Dumb question: how does the warranty work? Does FMK just ship the replacement directly to your house, or does it have to go to a FFL since the lower receiver is technically the "firearm" part of an AR?

I read through the following FMK+warranty threads but didn't see the answer:

Not sure how it works but I was told that Remington can just destroy a gun you send it and force serialize a new one and send it back. I would assume fmk would be able to do the same

Yup; instead of researching "FMK and warranty", specifically, I looked up "gun repair and shipping out of state", generally. Looks like you can ship directly to manufacturer, and manufacturer can ship directly to you, no FFL involved:
