Default KELTEC SUB2K INFO AND UPDATES 6/30/16

6/30/16

I STOPPED TAKING NEW ORDERS MONTHS AGO BECAUSE I WANT TO MAKE SURE THE CURRENT ORDERS GET FILLED. NATIONAL POLITICS ARE PLAYING HAVOC ON THIS ORDER.

ALL BACKORDERS WILL BE FILLED AS I GET GUNS. IF ANY LAW THAT WILL IMPACT THE IMPORTATION OF THESE GUNS IS SIGNED THIS YEAR I WILL BEGIN CANCELLING ORDERS AND REFUNDING UPON NEWS OF SIGNING. OTHERWISE THE GUNS WILL BE SLOWLY SHIPPING AS I GET THEM. YOUR PRE-ORDER PRICE IS GOOD UNTIL IT IS SHIPPED. ANY NEW ORDERS FOR THESE GUNS WILL BE MUCH HIGHER DUE TO DIFFICULTY IN OBTAINING THEM. NEXT YEAR MAY BE MUCH WORSE FOR INVENTORY SO I SUGGEST WAITING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. DISTRIBUTOR PRICES DO NOT GO UP BUT DEALERS WILL RAISE PRICES AS I HAVE ALREADY.

I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR THESE GUNS SINCE THE GROUP BUY STARTED. I APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S PATIENCE.

I will be digging through my PMs, emails, and all the posts and creating orders based on who requested guns first. It will not be perfect but I will do my best to get an very fair order sequence.

Starting on 1/15 I will be sending out invoices and PMs requesting info if there is not enough to make an invoice.

There is no eta on these guns.

THE FAIREST WAY TO MAKE THIS IS FIRST PAID, FIRST SERVED. I AM NOT MAKING A PUBLIC LIST NOW. IF YOU SENT A CHECK YOU KNOW WHEN YOU SENT IT. YOUR INVOICE WILL BE MOVED FROM AN UNPAID FILE TO A PAID FILE. ONCE THINGS SLOW DOWN AND ORDERS TRICKLE IN I WILL MAKE A PUBLIC LIST OF INVOICE NUMBERS ONLY.

I am already getting cancellations because for some reason there is a small group of individuals that did not see all my notifications that there is no eta on these guns. Those folks that had me make invoices will be allowed to buy when the guns come in but NOT at this price. As the CA legislation moves forward to ban 99% of centerfire guns prices will go up. I doubt the bills will fail. If you were governor and you just had the first major terrorist attack on CA soil since WWII with a majority of voters that hate guns do you think you will let your political career be destroyed by being targeted as the guy that ignores his voters? The 89 ban was due to a school shooting. This ban will be due to fear it can happen in intimate settings like a small Christmas party.

I am at the top of the list for these guns. I just do not know when they will be in my hands this year. I ordered these guns last year and I would not be doing this order if I thought I would not be getting them this year. Even if I do not, these funds are here for a gun. If I have to buy it from one of my network FFLs I can do that. If you decide to cancel you will be refunded because another guy will take your spot. I have shut down backorders for these guns on my website so all of them can go to CA. National customers can only put in a notification request and I am not selling them until no one in CA wants them. Do not waste my time having me make invoices for you and then decide under 24 hours later you don't want to buy. It has a severe impact on getting other work done. If you are the least bit concerned about your money being held here in limbo DO NOT ORDER. When they are here they will be anywhere from $600-1000+ depending on the progress of the bill only because these are already hard to get. Middleman conversions will go up in price as demand increases also. If I have to work 17 hours a day to pump out guns before December I will need to pay doctors, therapists, and more employees to keep me from blowing out a gasket. That all gets passed on to the guys that always assumed CA will loosen its gun laws.

I only know I am high on the list for any that arrive at my distributor and I have 120 on order in black, fde, and odg. They are glock 19 and 17 models.

Price shipped and CA converted is $525 for black and $545 for fde or odg.

Only cashiers checks and money orders are accepted. No credit/debit accepted. This makes it easy for you to cancel at anytime and not cost me money in processing fees. The only way I can lock these in is if I have the funds to pay for them in advance in case I am allocated a lot at once. I do to want to miss out on any guns so only pre-paid is allowed.

There will be no selling spots in line. If you cancel the position is eliminated and everyone below moves up a notch. It is too much of a headache adjusting orders and this is not a group buy.

I already talked to Prince50 about doing a special run of bullet buttons for me so enough will be available when the guns arrive but I think they will be trickling in as batches of 10 or 20 at a time. I already have a small batch of buttons here.

If you are not willing to wait several months for this gun then do not order. I have no idea how soon they will be in stock for me and I do not want anyone asking for updates. Once you order and send a check the only response from me will be an emailed receipt and an emailed tracking number when the gun finally ships. The only correspondence I will accept is for order cancellation requests. All others will be ignored because I am busy shipping guns and parts to other calgunners that are waiting patiently.

I'm feeling really sick today. I'll be working on making orders tonight after I get some rest.

I only have orders in for the guns listed above. I can order other variants on request. They are all about that same price. There is no eta on them but those other models are in much less demand.

I hope you feel better, I would like to order one in 9mm that takes beretta, sig or SW mags (esp SW mags). Let me know what the next step would be, since you have to order these and are in less demand, what is he expected ETA, are they easier to get??

Also could I pay for a wrap grip instead of the bullet button when making it featureless.

thanks.

I will but in an order for the gun you want and invoice you.

I will invoice for a grip wrap.

There is no ETA.

I'm making invoices all day today.
I am adding in a grip wrap option. It is from Solar Tactical. $45
http://shop.solartactical.com/KELTEC...N-GRIP-339.htm

Price of gun with grip wrap and stock lock is $540/560.

Any change requests will be a $25 fee. It is to cover my time and absorb the costs of buying parts you decided to change. The only change request that will not have a fee is if you are willing to accept a different model in stock instead of waiting for yours.

There will be factory 10 round and blocked mag models. You do not get a choice in the mag. It is whatever comes in first.

I just went through all my PMs and replied back with ordering instructions.

If you do not get a PM or invoice by tonight let me know. MY PM box is a disaster so I probably over replied and missed replies.
I will be checking my inbox for mew orders through out the weekend.

If you have a question about the process post it here and I will have a FAQ for everyone to see.

28 guns ordered so far. Under 10 are paid in full. You can jump the line if you order and I get a check here ahead of stragglers.

Does the gen 2 always meet the 30" length requirement even with the adjustable stock?

Anyone have any good pics of fde or odg sub 2000's ? I've only seen low resolution pics of fde.

Is the solar wrap grey area stuff or doj legit?

No. Stock must be locked fully extended to be 30.1+". Alternative is to install flash hider.

I've been shipping sub2ks so fast I have not had time to take pics. Both look excellent and I am not a huge odg fan.

grip wrap is used on lots of guns including AR's. They are as legal as bullet button which means no one truly knows as none have been prosecuted. If you read the instructions from raddlock and prince50 they clearly state they do not consider their maglocks legal. I can sell you an oil filter and barrel adapter but that does not mean they are legal to connect to a rifle.

I have the same question. Does Bain & Davis do transfers on these? If so, I'm down for one.

I have 240 on order so there are plenty left.

I just need a zip code to find a CA FFL that will do transfer's near you.

How many magazines does this come with? Also is there an option to add additional magazine to the order?

They ship with 1 magpul mag.
You can add as many magpul or oem glock mags as you want or sgm mags. I'll work on pricing.

I'd be interested in this too, g17 mags. Should I send an email or monitor this thread?

OEM Glock mags sell out quickly lately. I really don't want to take orders for them until the guns are here.

Pmags are almost always available.

blocked OEM G19 or G17 $23/ea with gun purchase no limit.
blocked Pmag g17 or g19 $15/ea with gun purchase. no limit.

Dont send in orders. Let's wait a bit.

I have 1 black g19 coming in next week as part of my 120 gun order. I know it is not much but it is a sign I will be getting them.

If you have been sittingon the fence deciding if oyu want the gun or not becuase there is no ETA at all I suggest you take the risk and pre-order.

If I get these guns after May AND the AWB moves forward to passing the prices of all semi auto guns will skyrocket. I plan on listing these for over $800 if the bills move forward in MAy and by July they will be on Gunbroker as auction only items.

I just got 1 gun of my allotment. It is going to be a slow process. Kel tec does not make anywhere near the demand level and many go straight to LEOs that direct order.
