I got both the Kershaw Nuras - both are great and very smooth after breaking in the bearings for a few days. The 3.0 is a few days ahead of the 3.5 and it is like butter now. The 3.5 had an sharp edge that needed to be broken on the frame, no big deal for the price and easy fix.

If anyone is looking for the ZT 0450 they are in-stock at River's Edge for a fair price - $160 shipped.

-Gerber drop point (always by bunk)
-Fox Karambit (in pocket)
-$8 unknown front a truckstop (most used, always in pocket)

I'm looking into Sebenza's again. I want a "higher end" model. Something with Damascus blade. Polished handles. Wood inserts. Double thumb lug maybe. I will have to save for a while as it will probably be in the $500-$600 range, but Sebenzas have a hold on me!

I love those Kukuri's. I still don't have one but it is on my list... not sure what size I should get. I do have the GI Tanto though.

I just got the newly released Brahma 119 from Buck. It is a nice knife and feels great in my hand. Now I have to get a couple more for my kids. They love it too.

My new baby, fresh in the mail. I am loving this fine piece of craftsmanship. It's the 300 Ball Flipper with AXIS locking mechanism. Scored it online for about 160.00.

I lost my Barrage a couple months ago in a cab down in Murrieta. Kind of glad now that I have this baby.

Not sure if anyone is interested in Survive Knives, but their 4.1's and 5.0's just came up on their website. You also get a 20% discount on checkout. Downside is you have to wait a month or two before you get them. I have the 5.1 and love it. Just waiting for the two 3.5's I ordered over a month ago and ordered two 4.1's yesterday. The waiting game continues...

I've been eyeballing the Benchmade 757, beautiful knife. Also need to add an Adamas and a Spyderco to the collection.

That is a nice sized knife (Vicar 757), and not feather light either. I am waiting for another Benchmade 520 right now. Oldie, but a good one. Tank-like Benchmades are pretty cool.

thanks. i'm excited about the find. finding treasure while on a treasure hunt is what gets you back out there on the next hunt. i'm sorry, but no pictures. i've never learned to post pictures online.

this is an R.H. RUANA (Rudy Ruana) knife with a blade length of 4" and total length of about 7 3/4". i don't know the actual age of the knife, but it lacks the addition of additional letter logo or figure logo near the primary marking that would positively identify it as one of his early works. it has the traditional bullwhip design below the R.H. RUANA signature on the blade which leads me to believe the knife was made in 1983, the last year that Rudy Ruana personally made knives for distribution. having his signature on the knife indicates it was a knife made by his hand. it has an integral aluminum handle, guard shaft and pummel as all-in-one. the inserts are elk stag with two rivets.

this is a nice example of the late Rudy Ruana's work. sadly, it did not come with original sheath. Rudy Ruana passed away in april of 1986.
