I didn't see myself buying another Benchmade that was not an Axis Lock, probably another 810 Contego M4...

But this one is sweet. They finally did a liner lock right. Just as good looking as my Sibert Vicar, but with a great detent, slick action.

Oeser makes some amazing knives, I like three tail locks. I'm not sure I'll ever spend that kind of coin on a knife but who knows.

I'm looking at a Pena custom next and I never thought of spend 1k on a knife so who knows what's next.

Just got this today. I’ve been wanting one for a while and finally decided to just get it. I’m a Chris Reeve customer for life.

Regulator 6.5" full flat grind - I had one before and now I have one again... I guess what was the point of selling my other one... need to stay off knife selling spots.

My first time to the knife section. I just bought a Mora Companion, best 14 dollar knife I ever bought. I have owned and used knives for 50 years. Most have been given or handed down to me. I see then as tools just like a screwdriver, not a hobbyist(guns more my hobby) I bought it to have an extra knife on hand whilst skinning deer. been using a 40year old Buck folder, and a cheapo Schrade folder. I was also seeking a full tang lightweight ergo handled knife especially as I get older my hand appreciate a nice grip whilst skinning and will not slip in blood. Never had a Scandi Grind so we will see come sharpening time how it works out, seems like it should actually be easier.

Picked up these to replace my 20 year old Spyderco Delica and Boker Brend.

Pro-tech TR3, and Spyderco Para 2, both left hand versions and an Esse Xancudo fixed blade.

They're amazing knives. I have a Companion, Companion HD, and a Robust, all in carbon, and find myself using them much much more than my other fixies.

Willem O’Kelly K’roo Chunky Frank slip joint from South Africa... Coffee Bean Bag Canvas Micarta, N690 steel, hollow ground blade, half stop, smooth and super snappy. He etches his logo and the texture on the flat... talking to him about doing one in amber colored CTek material. You can find him in FB and Instagram.

Thanks, I seriously love this knife. Micarta inlay really pops and the hollow ground M390 blade is phenomenal. Its just the right size and the action is amazing. Handle has good ergos too, it's an inatant favorite in my collection.

Yours is pretty awesome too, N690 is hard to find and I love the rare burlap micarta. What's the blade length?

3.6" OAL and 2.6" blade... standard for that model, but I think he makes a smaller one just as chunky. Interesting blade shape and the grind is crazy enough to make it thin behind the edge and wicked sharp.

Here's a comparo with a ZT 0470 (3.4" blade)

Here's one with some Ctek material - I love this color

No prob... I'm sure it is not interesting unless you like slip joints. I love the tactical framelocks, but something about snappy no-locks... makes them fun to collect and carry as a second non-threatening old school knife.

I love slipjoint knives. They can do the job and as you say are not threatening.

That's even cheaper than the Cold Steel version... but the Black Talon II does have a wave feature.

Oh I have liked the cheap Mora. And curses to this thread because for the toolbox I am about to hit "buy" on the Morakniv Garberg Full Tang Fixed Blade Knife with Carbon Steel Blade, 4.3-Inch

Yeah I have had a few... The stiffer spring traditionals have a real snappy spring and half stop... tends to keep them open really well in normal use. The half stop is another stop with the blade straight up from handle like two stages of opening and closing... another safety. I worry about a SAK opening in the pocket because the spring is about 1/4 if that of any GEC... but it has never happened. Some slip joints are so stiff they call them nail breakers. Hard to close too.

Knife related purchase... found a SYKCO SOD AZW sheath on Blade Forums for a good deal... no one stocks that knife anymore and I had one without a sheath. Kind of like a new knife since someone can carry it now... I need to learn to work with Kydex, but like anything else probably takes years before I could do it well enough. Nice to have a sheath or holster even for your backup redundant stuff.
