Default What stock is this, old Remington 700 .270 cal.

I kind of inherited this rifle from my father, he is still alive and well just can’t shoot this gun anymore. The recoil is too much for him. Seems to be a pencil barrel although I could be wrong. Ultra lightweight stock. Gun weighs probably less than 5 pounds Give or take. He said he bought it in the 80s. Had to have the trigger fixed once about 20 years ago. I’m just curious as to what stock this is and where I can get a better butt pad for him. Peeled the original off it said pachmeyer on it. And it was glued on, looks like the rear of the stock is full of hard foam.
