Whats your latest knife purchase?

Kershaw Dividend, Amazon had it on sale for $73, so I had to buy it. Just received it on Monday.
Really like the composite blade, edge was good from the factory. I would have preferred CF or even old GFN scales. I may customize it later, carries very well, very flat knife with thin blade.

Nice one. I have a framelock Kershaw Leek Composite Blackwash Blade 1660CBBW and i love the way it looks compared to other Leeks... bought a bunch as gifts and kept one of those for myself. You can barely see the composite jigsaw seam on that one.

Thanks. The composite blade is what got me, felt like i need one in my life.

I will make sure to post it. I got outbid on older, but like new Dividend with GFN scales, so it may take a while. But, I would really like to find CF scales. I am surprised by how much I am liking the Dividend, I generally stay away from AO knives, but this one is just great, much better then expected.

I think this is my first CRKT knife. Its model.CRKT M4-02W.
I really like the drop point blade. I just don't see many knives with blades that I like.

How is the action and detent? is the detent hard to overcome or too soft? Can you give a review so I don't have to order it to find out? Is there any blade play?

Got the CASE Kinzua Tanto today.
What a beauty, fit and finish are perfect, blade is dead centered.
The detent is perfect, right in the middle. Finger on the flipper and the blade snaps right out. No blade play at all. Nice and light weight 3.40oz per my scale and there specs. Meets my approval, would buy again. You got to get one.

I got a couple of those Satin 1020’s so it’s redundant but I like trailing points… basically they took a 1020 and cut more off for that 1021… at least the sheaths could be used for either model I think, but BB is making Kydex. Those thin SYKCO’s are cool. Could get stonewashed and it’d be pretty different. Hopefully they won’t sell out for a while.

my latest was almost 5 years ago, but its in the mail... Randall 12-6, leather handle, brass parts, nothing fancy but its maiden voyage into the woods is this coming weekend so I didn't want plated or fancy stuff for the handle. It will get its first scratches this weekend (assuming it arrives this week as it should).

Its replacing a 30+ year old Myerchin Marine Offshore with Micarta handle, back from when Myerchin made quality stuff. I had a boat back then and just kept carrying the knife into the woods.

After buying and carrying my nearly weightless, ultra stealthy Bugout CF (carbon fiber composite scales) Elite,

I realized that some of the states I will be visiting in the near future will not allow it as a carry knife.


This gave me the perfect reason/excuse to pick up the Mini Bugout CF Elite.

This knife is small enough to meet the more restrictive carry laws in certain states, and it weighs even less.


This knife also is the sharpest knife I have ever received directly from any factory.

Zero Tolerance ZT 0609. It's a collaboration with RJ Martin. All Ti frame lock flipper on bearings with a hardened steel lockbar insert, a 20CV blade that is a super slicer and holds a great edge. It's a super slick design and very comfortable to carry in shorts or Khakis:



I already had one and really love it. It's one of my favorite production knives. It's now discontinued and I found one on another forum for a great price, so I couldn't pass on it. Now I have a spare

Benchmade Infidel, had it about 2 weeks and it broke. Will not lock open, has a rattle and opening/closing not smooth. Something broke, leaf spring? Didn't do anything crazy with it, just opening and closing. Sent it to Benchmade yesterday for repair. I'll buy a Microtech next time.

Ordered a Morakniv Craftline the other day just to see what all the fuss was about with that brand then immediately ordered a companion model which arrived yesterday. Although Esee is my go-to, I’m seeing why these are considered one of the best values. Definitely worth the money and then some.

Where are you paying $100.00 for those.
I buy most of my knives from White Mountain Knives, free shipping, no tax and if you use code LTK you also get 10% off. The Carve was $71.00 and the Drake was $62.00 and that is the total price for each. These knives are as good quality as my Spyderco's and Benchmade's.

It is much cheaper to make and import liner lock, than a top quality titanium frame lock with great steel.

I like my $90 CF Ortis, but there is a good reason it
was designed as a liner lock.

They don’t compare to ZT. Not even in the same galaxy. IMHO.

Any money going to Chinese, are going to our enemy and contributes to destruction of the USA.
While I agree that completely avoiding buying Chinese made goods is nearly impossible these days, not spending any money on Chinese made knives is damn easy, tons of great US, Taiwanese, Japanese and European made high quality knives at great prices.
