Hmm good question. That’s the AR Maglock side which I have no control of.

I think the website may be down right now because they’re loading up the new content but I guess you can email them and ask

armaglock2.com up with Kingpin! Congrats @protohyp. Order placed!

Minor suggestion, black would look much better than raw steel (IMHO). There are nice durable black coatings for stainless like Ultra Blak...

yeah I hear you but we are trying to keep the cost down. The stainless is really a nice finish and since tolerances are already an issue we need to make sure that they function as easily as possible. even a .001 coating can cause an issue.

Placed my order... I think

Made it to PayPal and ordered and said I paid, but when I try to return to merchant I get a server 500 error or a "your order can no longer be cancelled."

We'll see if I get an email.

Cost is a concern. However, Ultra Blak (black oxide) will not build up even .0001". Heck I may try to get a sample done on mine just for some nerdy rifle customization!

Everything looks good. Got my order placed. I hope I didn't need any of that other crap the website was suggestion (e.g. the retaining strap, adhesive to make things permanent), etc.

Yes but it will only work with the new Gen2 AR Maglock. We will be launching other stuff that will work with the 1st generation of AR Maglock and they will have a new Gen3 Maglock that is auto releasing and works with the Hyperswitch

i started with black oxide and it rubbed right off. better to have black nitride but as I said we needed to have the costs down because of the springs and detents that accompany the kingpin. they dont look like much but each of those custom items is $$$

It will work with other systems such those listed but the benefit of having AR Maglock is clearing double feeds.

Kingpin won’t work with Gen 1 AR Maglock
