Please, in CA do not sell this as SpeedSwitch. Please name it something like SlowAFSwitch. Or else the name may be used against us at some point just like Bullet Button, that made a magazine change somehow faster than humanly possible.

We can call it SafetyPin for All and they'd still use it against us. We will only be sensitive to using the word 'kill' but won't be that sensitive to much anything else.

If the name rolls off the tongue and fits the part we are taking it.

We have some of our favorites among the suggestions but please keep them coming. Good stuff guys.

We ARE open to renaming SPEEDSWITCH as well so keep suggesting for that too!

Thanks guys and girls! (my gf uses Speedswitch)

Name it after something liberals can't possibly ban, like Intersectional Feminism Switch, Sanctuary City Switch, or Gender Non-Binary Switch.

But in all seriousness I like Proto-Switch or Safety Switch. You don't really have to describe it perfectly. As long as we know what it is, you could name it "John" and still sell them if it works well.

It would have a sweet ring of irony to name it after the gun banning proposition.

Thumbs up

How about this?
1) SNAPSHOT
2) AR-Snapshot

“Makes opening your rifle receiver a “snap”. “Makes your rifle compliant in a “Snap”. I can hear future testimonials....”I run SNAPSHOT on all of my rigs, it is by far the quickest, best engineered solution for opening receivers on AR rifles”

BTW-would you consider sending me 3 for my rigs as a beta tester?

I anxiously await your production date! Great work! Loren

How about the CalCom Switch (Ca Compliant Switch) and The CalCom Pin (Ca Compliant Pin).

The FTC Switch and FTC Pin (For The Children).

Santuary Switch.

If they try to ban it, they would have to keep saying ‘ban the santuary...’

we are working on final production stuff for the proprietary mag release. That part is integral to the function of freedom follower. trying our best but dont have a solid date for that...shouldn't be too long though. you can imagine how busy we have been here.

Plus we are releasing a whole new other product line that no one knows about just yet so we have a ton of things going on here.

Default SpeedSwitch vs. ?Switch (help us name it) VIDEO ADDED POST #1

Just do not name it something that infers that it makes things easier or faster. I truly believe that when they named the ‘bullet button’, the anti gunners thought that this actually HELPED the gun run faster! Part # 3502 would be fine with me.

REGARDLESS of the name chosen for this device(s) two things are for certain:

1. Those antis who bother to track firearm compliance technology will marvel at the ingenuity of this device(s) (and others) and lament their inability to craft legislation and rule making to neuter the speed of reloading the AR platform.
2. Future legislation will move to effectively prohibit this device by requiring a complete upper/lower disassembly and/or continue down the path of a full blown semi-auto ban.

In the mean time how sweet the irony is that the intent has entirely backfired resulting in not only tool-less but faster magazine swaps.

All this being said, some prudence is advised on names containing words like "kill".

Ok let’s think this through,

Your device is a button, not a switch. And it’s promary design is to disassemble the action. In order to avoid being targeted as a loophole device we should advertise it for its actual function, not its efficiency.

So with that on mind I’m going to reccomend something along the lines of

Push-pin
Takedown-button
DAD (disassembly assist device) button
DAD pin

Good suggestions for the button type. However, there is both a switch type solution and a button type solution. Both are covered in the OP.

yeah...we had to come up with names quick. it's not easy which is why we're leaving it in your guys hands.

this also does include possibly renaming speedswitch as well so if we choose your name for that you will receive one as a prize as well.

Lefties always name their organizations and laws to disguise what they're really doing. Like the Safe Schools and Communities Act - which released violent prisoners into our neighborhoods.

We need to do the same thing.

It should be called the Slow Button. Or Neuter Button. Or Gun Control Button. Or Gun Destruction Button.
