Ok was just there and I have to say, it was a mess. Once the weather cools down. Who would like to join me cleaning it up. It's a shame the way people leave ****.

We all need to clean up after we leave. Even if the trash isn't our own. Talked to a Ranger today at one of the spots. He wasn't happy and was taking pics of the trash. There are thinking of closing some of the areas to shooting.

And some people need to stop shooting by people's homes.

We should go clean up the areas so that they don't close them. What areas are you referring to? You can PM me if you would like.

Just a reminder for the people who shoot in the Rosemond spots. Remember to shoot away from the houses n roads. Talked to a person who's house who hit today. Know where the F^ck your shooting. It could have been worse. See the post about the Incident at rahauges. And clean up after yourself

I 100% agree the gun community doesn't need someone's ignorance or laziness making things even harder!

There's one spot I know of that has a lot of crap people have left from shooting. Other spots I go to are clean, I pack out everything I pack in.

Wow, not hard to just shoot against the hillsides. No reason at all for a house to be hit.

Was just at the spot with all the junk noticed that there was a fire there. Does anyone know when this happened ? And some how, now there was even more junk.

This is precisely why more open areas are being closed to target shooters. The worst non-corporate violators of environmental stewardship next to those who cook illegal drugs on public lands are target shooters. Look at nearly every spot in California where folks go out and totally trash the place, and you will find shooting debris. Trashy people leaving their trash. Those willing to clean up after the slobs pay the price.
