hotdog310 Has a 38 special for sale and when I offered the asking price he changed the ad for another $100 and then I asked to see if we had a deal and he’s not available this weekend. No offer of another weekend or a lock in for the deal. Seems like a scammer. I’ve been doing business on calguns successfully since 2012 and never have come across a situation like this with little communication and no follow through. Beware.

Bad business practice but wouldn't call them a scammer.

There has definitely been other people upset when prices are changed after they get flooded with "I'll take it"s.

jjfuller sold me a slide for a G19 saying it was cut for a vortex venom red dot. When I got the slide it was cut for a red dot but not a venom. After some research it's cut for a vortex viper. I sent a message to see how we can remedy this issue. Since then he had been on twice with no response. I guess I will just have the credit card company deal with it. Negative feedback left.

Someone look over on Millkenny12, this guy has been busy placing "I have what you need" to many WTB ads including sending private messages.

New member, only active in WTB and dumb retarded scammer who posted on the Welcome to Calguns thread.

Sent me a private message for nothing I have on WTB, I don't have a WTB ad and he sends me a "I have what you need" private message.

Dude sold me an upper with what was supposed to have a criterion core barrel as he advertised but was in fact the ballistic advantage version. I sent him photo proof of the error in question and he refuses to make it right.

He says I need to ship back the upper before getting refunded this weekend but he would have both items.

He advertised the midwest factory upper as being the criterion version but its the ballistic advantage version.

I did not pay with Paypal so liability falls on me and don’t say I told you so because I’m banned on PayPal with no other options.

In any case David needs to make it right or I suggest he be banned permanently off the forum.

It was an honest mistake but only wanted to correct it on his terms. Honesty i dont think he was experienced enough to know the difference in parts.

I don’t want to leave negative feedback just to have him do the same in retaliation.

Avoid vdaw1, Cal_Wood and anderson2964. All three joined between April and May of this year with almost 0 posts and 0 transactions. All three claimed they had a Dead Air Pyro after I posted in the WTB section. vdaw1 sent me a picture but a quick google search ended up showing that they straight up stole the picture from another legit calgunner. Clearly all scammers.

Yup, just dealt with Cal_Wood. He sent me a DM stating he had a Holosun 507k V2, NIB that he would sell for $255.99 shipped. Gave me his number and said he was from Denver. Said he has issues with PayPal and can take Zelle. That was the red flag for me. So I started ****ing around with him stating I have friends in Denver and they can do an in-person transaction. He then states he's out of town and currently in Utah and won't be back for 2 months. After going back and forth with him I finally told him (or her) to eat a dick and **** off. His number is 417-374-1590. These scammers are getting crafty.
