Over the past few years as Calguns has grown we've 'gained' for lack of a better word a small collection of former members who have been banned due to questionable practices in the Marketplace and who have repeatedly rejoined under new screen names to continue their less than legitimate practices.

Up until now we have banned each new iteration and watched for the next one however some are so persistent I feel they have reached the level of requiring a posted warning to prevent members from being taken in by the new screen name.

As needed this thread will be added to over time, hopefully the need to update it will be very infrequent or better nonexistent.

So i purchased a Law tactical ar-15 folding stock adapter for 150$ from him on July 2nd of 2018. On July 4th he claimed he had dropped the item into the USPS drop box and provided me with a tracking number. July 8th after 4 days of consistently checking the tracking number in hopes of an update it was still stuck showing that USPS had not even received the item yet. I contacted him on the 8th and wasnt responded to till the 9th. He agreed to return my money back but i never received it. I have tried calling his phone number which is now OFF, i have also tried to email him which i have gotten no response and i even attempted to message him on CG. No response from any source. The date is now July 11th 2018.

Beware of this out of state scam response to your WTB or WTS ads!! This "seller" will ask for ONLY Moneygram payment from an out of state location while posting stolen photos from well known auction sites claiming to be his/her own firearm.
I posted a WTB ad recently on the WTB and Collector's Exchange for a pretty rare rifle. Got a PM from member Markky004 to email a man named Joseph Pellegrino. Emailed this guy and he claimed he had a specimen to sell but actually stole photos from the auction website pre98k.com saying the photos were his. He asks ONLY for Moneygram claiming his wife works for them and it was perfectly 'safe' for me to send payment directly to him. He claims his FFL is mainly absent due to tending to a 'sick wife'. We maintained frequent email correspondence as to complete the deal in a safer way than Moneygram. I asked for more specific and clearer pictures of his 'mystery nonexistent' rifle that he 'had' for ie bore pics, sling pics, safety lever, etc. I told him if I dont get more pics, no deal! The guy finally gave out and backed out of our email conversations.

I have been looking for a Mossberg 930 SPX, was following the one Two Nuggets was selling, then today I thought I would do another “930 spx” search in the marketplace, and came across Banksy selling one with the exact same personal pictures used by Two Nuggets; did some investigating and found multiple identical sale threads between both users.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but wanted to get the word out.

I purchased a slide back in Jan 2019 off eBay from a seller by the name of loriandmary.
The ATF contacted me yesterday, turns out this person is selling stolen government property. I am meeting with ATF this morning. They will be confiscating the slide.

Anyone that has dealt with this seller should expect ATF to be contacting them. I went back and looked at loriandmary feedback and looks like anyone who has purchased anything from them is now being contacted by ATF.

I will try to file a claim with eBay about getting my money back

Not sure if this is the correct way to do this but I posted some mags on here and somebody texted me about them when I didnt provide my number to anybody living in the LA area. He texted me asking which type of gun are the mags from and I asked how did you get my number and he responded "wrong answer lol" and I asked "who's this?" And the person said "no offense but you didnt answer any of my question so why should i. I wont bother you again."

Has anybody had this scenario happen to them? I find it strange and now I cant acces desktop mode on my phone anymore

I recently bought some magazines from this seller. It was supposed to be 4 M1A CMI magazines (as advertised from the post). After receiving the items, I was disappointed. The seller mailed me 3 CMI mags mixed with 1 “W” marked bluish mag. The worst part was the “W” mag was using one of the CMI’s bottom plate, and off course one of the CMI mag was also equipped with a bluish plain bottom plate, that’s very clever! The “W” marked bluish mag also happened to be a fake using “Lee Emerson’s Pictorial M14 Magazine Identification Guide”. Oh well...

I guess what made me upset the most was that the seller thinks I was naïve or something. It is not even about the money. This is deceiving and a bad business practice. I’ve tried PM the seller for explanation, he never get back to me, his post has since been deleted as well. Great! now I can’t even leave him a A++ iTrade rating. I really hate to do this but here is the seller.
