Sure there is. CA politicians hate laws enforcement and guns.

The believe they've reached a tipping point with their gun control and don't need the support of law enforcement any more.

Yes I think they are starting to feel comfortable with their migration to the federal level of compulsion. Their allies have focused efforts on expanding federal agencies with party loyalists and arming them up instead. You know, that whole bit about "re-imagine policing". Isn't it curious how federal agencies like the USDA are all stocking up on machineguns and pallets of ammunition? I think they have long realized that outside of certain metro areas, most of the local police can't be counted on to serve as the enforcement arm of the partisan rulers. Look at the recent tiff between the Governor of New Mexico and the sheriff of Albuquerque who refused to enforce her unilateral unconstitutional gun bans.

Interesting argument regarding suing law enforcement agencies for using so called unsafe firearms. Thin but none the less interesting. Leading by example is null I guess.

If it is a two-year bill and one year has gone by, it has one more year left.

It may not move forward in that year, but it is not dead for the reasons previously noted.

Moving on.
Give me some examples of two year Bills that didnt pass the first year but passed second year .. I'll wait..

If this bill had traction to pass, it would have already. Its "essentially dead." Take that however you would like to interpret it.

Can you expand on this? How is this bill being used to "keep unions in line?"

Your statement was patently inaccurate. Now you have moved the goal post to "essentially dead". Cute.

How about citing every two year bill ever established and showing they died. I won't wait. I'm gonna go do other stuff.

The bill is dead

So you have nothing. As expected. Have a good one.

Better yet. Quote me when this bill passes next year and I'll send you a case of ammo. Willing to bet ?

How blessed and safe the residents of California must feel, knowing that police officers carrying handguns deemed unsafe by the state can arrest them for possessing the same exact weapons.

Wrong. Possession of a off roster handgun is not a crime. Just look at the marketplace.......

That does not render the Unsafe Handgun Act as not a violation of We the People's Second Amendment rights.
