Looking for a summer/fall job

Hello,
I was recently accepted to my dream university. My previous job in hospice was a full time job and my boss won't do part time. I was wondering if anyone out there has a family owned business or works for a small to medium company that pays decent and appreciates hardwork and responsible employees... and can refer me in the right direction. I have been applying to a few jobs with my associate degree but no word yet... I made less without it 😅😅. Anyway I can provide solid personal references upon request.
I prefer within 20 miles or less of Montebello/Monterey park. Thank you

I'm studying political science with the intention of pursuing law school in the next year or so. I will take whatever job there is available I'm not too picky
