You can either send a copy of your CA CCW or your CA CCW training.

They have up to 75-90 days to respond. I’d say, early Aug, give them a call.

Remember though that's "working days" so it stretches out a bit. If my math is right that will bring you out to approx. Sept 27th

Thanks yeah Iím going to sent the copy of my ccw. The ccw training I take. He not on the NRA list for Arizona so probably wonít work. But I guess just the CA ccw will do the work.

Nope, due to DROS. It would have to be shipped to CA to complete the process.

Quick question for those with AZ and/or UT non-resident CCWs. My AZ expires 1/22 and my UT 10/22. I am presently in the renewal process for my OC CA CCW so I should have a valid CA CCW by the time these renewals roll around. How long before the expiration of each should I apply for renewal? If I send a copy of my CA CCW will that suffice for any training requirement? Do either AZ or UT send out reminders when to renew or anything like that? Thanks.

AZ will send a reminder letter/form.
The new licence takes effect the day the old one expires.
There is a 4t day grace period. After that you are starting over.

Hi, new here. So Iím sending in my Cali CCW together with the application. In this area, know for sure I have to sign and date. However on the top portion ( Print name of organization, governmental police agency, or branch of military) do I just leave it blank ?

You could list the training provider of your CA CCW.

Oh ok. Because my provider is not on the Arizona list. Iím sure you heard of him the medicup training. That where I got the training for mine Cali CCW. Ok I will take your advised and still listed. Knowing the Cali ccw will just replace the training for Arizona requirements

Don't forget... A DD214 suffices for training for all honorably discharged veterans.

While I have my DD214 and could have skipped the class I felt it was worth the 75.00 to sit through the presentations where it came to the actual laws in Arizona.

That to me was worth the education.

A CA Hunter Safety certificate also suffices for AZ training. A copy of that with 2 fingerprint cards and the app and you are good to go. Some of these classes also offer rolling your prints, which can be $60 alone at a fingerprint place. So if the charge to roll 2 cards at class is less, it becomes even more of a value.

FYI, Utah is now constitutional carry so no need for a permit. You can LOC as well!
