Default Hitch Mount truck hoist $160

I just ordered one of these, should have it next week for hoisting feral hogs in the bed of my truck. I have no idea of the quality or how long price will last.

Post back here with your opinion of it once you've used it. I might grab one depending on your input. Hopefully the sale price will stick around until then.

I have one very similar. Works good but too heavy to use on a regular basis. Take two people if you want to do it comfortably to set up in the hitch due to the weight and size of it. Mostly just sits unused for that reason, but does occasionally come in handy to have.

Good idea but not sure if full lift would allow you to clear truck bed side.
Will depend on how low the load hangs.

Good point. I want to see the rest of the photos with that jet ski. Did they actually get it in the truck or not? And how many people did it take if they did?

I pick mine up on Tuesday. I wanted to post the deal earlier because I didn’t know how long it would last. I was going to make myself a davit for the bed of the truck, but steel alone was going to cost more than this unit. Home Depot has a pretty good return policy if the thing is junk.

Just get a portable winch and drag it up.......we load all of our elk this way one person can do it all, no need for this goofy looking rig.

Hell of a savings. I’m thinking about using it on back of tractor to grab the generator and load it into bed of truck. Probably move logs onto trailer as well.

Got mine home just before dark. It’s heavy, feels like a Harbor Freight cherry picker. I couldn’t buy the materials to make this for the cost.

Edit: I used the hitch mounted hoist to do some hog hunting. It lifted 160# - 200# hogs in the bed of the truck with ease. I drove around with the hoist mounted in the trailer hitch and a hog hanging with no problem. I might replace the steel cable in the winch with a rope, it kinks pretty easily when you don’t have proper tension. Keeping the cable on the pulleys did require some attention. this thing is made by the CCP

There are wheel bearings that make swiveling the boom around easy.
