Solid. Love my M&P10. Dont know why anyone would bother building an "AR308" when you get this for $800. I might have to get another one this year if they keep offering them at that price.

.308 ammo is so expensive though. Gonna have to start reloading.

$800.00 is a darn good price but you can still build em for less

I've built a few. None for less than $800. And if you want them to function without issues, its best to go with a factory built upper or complete rifle.

The M&P10 is solid. No unusual wear on the bolt or signs of over pressure like on most homebuilds even some factory built guns.

At this point, I only recommend factory built uppers or complete guns for 308ARs.

Let me clarify. I put a few together using factory built uppers. They worked fine but they cost a lot more than $800 to put together and I bought the parts on sale.

Every home build I've seen where somebody actually built the upper themselves from scratch has had issues.

Trust me as someone who has had 6 AR308s over the years (CMMG, Aero, Windham, S&W). The M&P10 is solid rifle that you cannot match for $800. Youre smoking crack if you think you can build a better AR308 from scratch for less than $800.

Thats a strong emotional response for someone that doesnt care about my opinion which simply stated that I don't believe you can build a better AR308 for less than $800, that will not have any issues.

This is an incredible deal. Even if you do build a good, reliable, AR10 for ~$800, here you get an ambi lower, 5R barrel (which means you'll probably get more accuracy than the $800 home build), and a warranty.
