The files are available on the internet. I printed one for myself...
The price he shows is worth it if you don't have a printer. Even if you do, it takes some tinkering to get it right. Save yourself the hassle. This is legit and it works. Do not use any dropper dies except the DAA as he suggests. I started with the hornady, but it doesn't like cast or powder coated bullets. lots of cool 3d printed stuff for reloaders out there. $210 is well worth it to save your time and hassle. Also a fraction of the price over the DAA Mr. bulletfeeder. Works just as good. So good that DAA sent the creator a cease and desist order and forced him to take down the files. Some early adopters still have them.

After I saw lightfighter363’s bullet feeders for sale ad I was intrigued about the whole 3D bullet feeder setup and started some research into them. I checked YT, eBay, FB, and googled the heck out of them. I found several people selling them online but they all had the same design but wanted more for the basic design. After chatting with lightfighter about its capabilities I decided to place an order for 1 and I also ordered the DAA feeder die on the same day.
I received my DAA die a few days later and then my bullet feeder arrived yesterday. Setup was a breeze on my XL650 and in no time I had the DAA die and feeder setup the way I liked it. I loaded 100 rounds last night and it was a joy to watch the whole bullet feeding process. A couple of things that I wanted to point out: 1. Lightfighters as does not mention this but his feeder has an adjustable feed speed. The other ones I saw online came standard with non adjustable feed speed or they charged an extra $50 for the adjustable speed option. 2. His version came with a switch that stops the feeder from dropping bullets into the feed tube. Others models I saw online did not offer this or charged extra. 3. On the Dillon 650/750 you will need to remove the powder check system OR keep it and lose the dedicated crimp die. I opted to remove the crimp die but I ordered a 2 in 1 bullet seater and crimp die so I can keep my powder check. 4. He can customize the cover of the electrical box. I chose to ad the Naval Academy school seal and my name which was a pretty intricate design but it turned out great. Just a nice touch if you ask me. 5. He said you can put 100 9mm bullets into the feeder. I didn’t want to count bullet so I just dropped several handfuls into the hopper. I loaded 100 rounds and still had a bunch of bullets left in the hopper so I think it can take 150+. More than that I would be worried about burning out the motor. I know that some of you are thinking why spend the money on a bullet feeder when it’s effortless to place a bullet by hand. Well in my desire to automate as much as possible this truly is a time and physical effort saver and I chose to do it. My only con about it is that LF’s version is only for 9 and 40. I would have liked that it also worked with 45 but I bet there could be a way to make it work and he said he is looking into to making it work. Anyways for $210 shipped this is a bargain especially if you don’t have a printer to do it yourself. I highly recommend it. Last edited by Mac Attack; 11-07-2021 at 5:45 AM.. |

Of course you need separate dropper dies for each caliber you want. DAA was out of the .223 and .45 for a while, but I believe they are back in stock. I agree with you Mac. A bullet feeder isn't a necessary item, but it makes the process a lot more enjoyable and you feel like you are printing money. For a minimal investment, it is very cool and way more efficient. Squ1d

That looks like the original Mr. Bullet feeder I bought more than 10 years ago. I wonder if he dropped the design online after the fallout with his partner.

I can fit a box of 500 in there. But the motor will stall if it's the 230g 45ACP. 115g 9mm, no problem.

If you are even the slightest bit on the fence about these, don't be. This thing is amazing.
I have a Mr. BF on a 1050 that I've spent hours tuning to drop 223 bullets perfectly and the thought of tearing it down to switch to 9mm make me hand place them. Not any more. I opened the box, hung it to test it, threw in a hand full of 115 RN plated bullets and it fed them perfectly. Perfectly. So happy.

I do have ligthfigther363 bullet feeder on my Dillon Super 1050 and it is the best 3D printed bullet feeder out there.. High Quality 3D bullet feeder, functions flawless and lots of upgrades.
I do have 3 3D bullet feeder and the other 2 from different 3D printed maker did not last and not as good as Ligthfigther363 bullet feeder. I highly recommend Ligthfigther363s bullet feeder.
