The manual with Parts 3 and 4, for troop and field repair, is sold below. Part 5 (not available) is simply a listing of the part with military stock part numbers, and isn't very useful so it will not be translated.
This is a very thorough and well illustrated operator manual, showing the variations and differences between the different models (wood / plastic / collapsible stock). All the basics for the shooter are well described and illustrated, as well as the use of the accessories and cleaning kit, including complete assembly / disassembly with exploded views showing the individual parts. This manual also includes the basics of mounting the telescopic sight, night vision device, IR telescope and illuminator, and the installation and use of the practice bolt, blank firing adapter, and .22 long rifle sub-caliber kit. This is NOT a heavy duty armorer's manual for the G3, but rather a more in depth operator's manual for inspecting, servicing, and repairing the G3 at the troop and weapon technical personnel level. Shows how to adjust sights, check headspace, change the extractor, bolt rollers, check firing pin protrusion, and the more mundane maintenance of disassembly, assembly (including the trigger group), and in depth inspections, with several pages of tables for troubleshooting. This is a great book for everyone who owns or plans to build a PPSh 41 or PPS 43. This 1956 dated Russian armorer's repair manual covers the PPSh (Mod. 1941) and PPS (Mod. 1943). This well illustrated manual has excellent text descriptions for inspection, troubleshooting, and repairing the PPSh and PPS, with lots of dimension diagrams for making your own parts that you just can't keep in stock. It also has full details to make approved repairs to the stock, several pages of tool blueprints for the repair shop to make, a chart listing the springs for making your own, including diameter, length, wraps, and how to heat treat them, and a refinishing section for stripping and re-bluing the metal parts.

100 pages, formatted in 8.5 x 11" size, and plastic comb bound to lay flat on your workbench while you're fixing things. The original manual had 144 pages with a lot of tiny type and small diagrams, so I enlarged it all to make it easier to read.

Yugoslavia M53/MG42 Armorer's Manual, Yugoslavia Military Issue, Translated to English

Mitraljez i Puskomitraljez 7.9 mm M53 i M42 - Heavy and Light Machine Gun 7.9 mm M53 and MG42.
We now have the 1963 dated Yugoslavian Army manual for M53/MG42 repair in English. This is a VERY detailed manual (186 pages) and includes exploded views of all the parts for the disassembly/assembly/repair of the gun, for the lafette (including the searching fire device), and for the belt loader. This is an exceptionally good manual with detailed information not found in any of the other manuals for the M53/MG42, or anywhere else for that matter.

The bad part is that it was written in Serbo-Croatian (Yugoslav), so it took a lot of time to translate it. After 10 weeks, I have it in English. No, you can't just type it into Google translator and have it make sense. I tried it, and most of the results are not even close to usable. I had to buy dictionaries and learn Serbo-Croation for this one, then sit with the gun, the lafette, and the belt loader in pieces to make sure I got it right, then translate and clean up all the illustrations, and since it is twice the size of most manuals (186 pages), this translation was a lot of work.

This has 186 full size (8.5 x 11") pages, bound with a plastic comb so that it lays flat when you read it. See images for the table of contents and sample pages.

East German, DDR, Woven Cockade or patch for hat. Original cold-war era DDR production, unissued and new.

Coloured cockades were used in Europe to show the allegiance of their wearers to some political faction, or to show their rank or to indicate a servant's livery. Military uniforms would use cockades as well.

This will look pretty good on your military shirt or hat. Nice little authentic piece for re-enactment purposes or to brighten up your DDR style AK. Measures about an inch across.
