FFL & AMMO TRANSFERS. GUNS $50ea , Ammo Transfer $15 -LA/OC

Complete Newb to guns. Just wanted to confirm the process:

1. Find an awesome deal online for ammo and confirm they ship to CA
2. Get in touch with you guys and confirm you can receive the shipment
3. Buy it and ship it to you guys
4. Arrange day/time for pick up
5. Pay the $10 fee and do paperwork (taxes?)
6. Go home and be happy

Does that seem right?

Also in terms of out of state gun purchases. How does that work? Is that for online orders as well as used guns? Same process as ammo I’m guessing?

Pretty much. We always like to know it’s coming, and it gives us a chance to 1) bless the purchase and make sure everything is compliant and 2) gives us a chance to meet or beat the deal. If we can’t we will transfer it for you.

Gun purchase is the same thing, with a 10 day wait. Just keep in mind assault weapon laws and the roster. Curio and Relic (50+ years old or on the list of c&r guns are exempt from the roster as well as some single action guns).

Regarding the gun purchase. Let’s say I want to get a used CZ P01 from out of state. Am I only restricted to the CA compliant model? Or can I just get a regular P01 without the hi cap mags? Could I get an Omega model?

So this is where it gets funny and stops making sense. The 9xxxx models are high cap and the 0xxxx models are 10rd. If the case says 91199 it’s not the California model. If I get get a p01 and it doesn’t have high caps or a box that says 91199 I would assume it’s a 01199. but taking high caps out doesn’t magically change the model, even though the sticker on the box magicaly makes it non compliant.

So it must be a compliant model. Cannot be an omega. Just the grips (ie orange cz) is a different model.

For that matter, I stock that gun and could probably offer a pretty reasonable price even against many online sources once you factor in shipping/transfer fee.
