Any thoughts on the round vs boxy rails?

I like thinner rails but think it depends on gas block size. PA has Aim rails on sale too https://www.primaryarms.com/aimsport...n-length-black

Which one did you get- the slim or the other? How does it look?

I got the bigger one mainly because I like the rail design better
It’s a bit chunky but really light

For $100 it’s a good value o checked the box also the Lifetime replacement guarantee even if it’s damaged-no receipt required

So I like it more now

Or maybe just take the 50% off they already had. Or if that’s not enough shop elsewhere. Their ‘hustle’ probably didn’t expect people to look for more than half off, or to complain about it.

It was apparent during checkout, but now I’ve read (post #9) there was a different code that would have worked. According to you, I should be satisfied with the sale price or shop somewhere else. This is on the home page. Clear enough?

Mine came in today and it looks great. I got the blocky one and it feels good. I thought it might be chucky from the pictures but its really slim.

I'll try 1 for $100. Free shipping would be nice, but the 10% covered the $10.

Looks like the Low Pro Rigids are Midwest Industries handguards made for Griffin.

I thought it was the same handguard also but i think they're different. The griffin doesn't appear to have the anti rotation tabs. Also my Midwest SLH handguard is more of a round shape and the griffin looks to be more square or squoval. Lastly the Midwest has two fasteners and the griffin has 3.

Just my observation and I could be wrong.

Looking at the low pro design, I see nothing that is anti rotation so is that set screw in the photo used for anti rotation?

For thin rails I really like Aero Precision Atlas S-One series. Lightweight, easier to hold. I don't have much to mount anyway. I'm replacing all my rails with them.
