Default MODESTO: Your favorite shop for ammo?

Hey, guys! I've recently relocated to Modesto for work from socal and was wondering where the locals love to shop for their ammo with the best prices. Thanks in advance!

Turners ammo prices aren't too bad. But I shop at Called2Arms or On Target Arms for guns and ammo.

I have not purchased bulk ammo in some time, but Alquist Arms in Turlock had great prices. Many folks do not care for Alquist, but they have always treated me good.

If you’re just wanting a couple of boxes, as mentioned; Called2Arms, OnTarget, Sierra Arms are all good locations.

Thanks! That's a really big change going from SD to Modesto. I'm still adjusting to Modesto coming from Orange County.

And thanks to all the suggestions, guys! Any instructors up here you guys would recommend for handgun classes? I recently got my CCW and was hoping to take more CCW and basic handgun classes.

Yes, it was!

I have taken classes at the Linden gun range, Trident Firearms Academy and a few at California Shooting Sports. Linden and Trident has more options than CSS, but all are nearby. Instructors at Trident and Linden are awesome and former LEO

I know there are a couple of other options, although I have no experience with them. Hopefully others here can provide more information.
