My hunting rifle a Remington 700 CDL in .30-06 with a Bushnell 6-24 40mm scope weighs in at around 9-10lbs.

Took your advice, I am taking out my Savage heavy barrel .308 next week. I have dicked around all summer trying to build a light AR10. Just going to my Savage heavy out, screw it. A2
