Interesting, except the partner laughs too much. And why still the revolvers in 1988 and not the Beretta 92FS?

Because that was around the time LASD started the conversion to semi autos. Academy recruits and custody deps started to acquire the 92F’s (not the FS model yet) first and before guys and gals in patrol did. The “FS” models came out for the department around 1990-ish. The deps in the video just didn’t get the conversion training yet, that’s all.

Sorry, never getting rid of mine.

It takes a long time to train and convert 9,000 sworn personnel..
