Dulzura Pink Gate and other east county BLM land
Hi,
I’m planning on heading out to dulzura this weekend to go shoot with a friend. It will be the first time for both of us, so any tips are appreciated. I was wondering if anyone has the directions/address for the “Pink Gate” in Dulzura. I was also curious if there is any other BLM land in east county that might be better options. Thanks |

I drove by last week and there were lots of cars and people shooting. I've never shot there before so can't offer advice. I'm curious how people manage the line. I imagine they are all shooting in the same direction on a make shift firing line. Do they do a seize fire or are they all shooting up close so they don't really need one?

It is currently open. Make sure to take some trash bags and pick up after yourself. We fought hard to keep it open, so don’t tske it for granted.

Yes, please. Take out more than you take in. They're a breath away from shutting it down, like the Del Mar gun show.

SDco blm land closing to target shooting as of tomorrow:
"In addition, on April 10, the BLM will initiate restrictions for recreational target shooting on BLM-managed public lands within San Diego, southern Kern, western Riverside, western San Bernardino and eastern Los Angeles counties until further notice. " https://www.blm.gov/press-release/bl...ifornia-desert Looks as though Imperial co is still open. |
