Default Blue laser Weapon Light?

Have you seen the Weapon Mounted Light With Blue Dot?

The Baldr S BL is one of the industry-leading compact light/BL beam combos on the market. Its white light output is as bright as 800 lumens.

My blue laser has many warnings about being dangerous to eyes and skin.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I agree with you, a green laser will be brighter than a red or purple laser. But the blue lasers are the best suited for burning ability. So what I meant is the blue laser might be the better choice if you’re going for visibility and burning.
Thanks for your reminding! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Hi sir, thanks for the warning. I saw some articles that said blue lasers are also more dangerous. But our BL beam is 440~460nm (<5mW), which means it will not hurtful if you don't point the laser beam at the eyes for a long time.

The blue laser is brighter than an ordinary RL beam but not as glaring as the GL beam in close-range uses. So that's a pretty slick and versatile option.

No way, No thanks.. If I'm looking for a photo-polymerization effect, then yes - but the last thing I need is the early onset of cataracts...

I seriously would not want to be liable for this company's offering.

Do a little research on this. The maker needs to shift out of that wavelength it they're going to sell a product like that to the public - because people do stupid things and they WILL get this light in their eyes at some point.

When you do your research, pay attention to the wavelength of light that they use to catalyze dental adhesives and note the overlap.

To be honest, a better green or cyan laser would produce light that is more visible (and useful) during daylight hours. Unfortunately, not all green lasers are safe as they don't always have a infrared filter in-line. These are the kinds of things that can and will cause damage to the retina you won't even be able to see until it's too late.
