I love it. Easy to tune, very stady and very well machined.

Nope. I like this over Ruger. Also, for money, you are vuying base, then you add/tune the way you want to. Ruger, you will pay premium for something you might not like.

Because I replace bolt handle, decided to make some experiments with original.
This is how it came out

Here is how I made it
Put on the milling machine, centered to the ball, drill hole with thread 1/4-20. Shaved some meat off. Took piece of black ULTEM 2300 and turned on lathe.

Finally was able to sight optics and made some shots.
Target 100 yards, slop angle up 6 degrees, ammo Hornady 140 grain ELD. Sun was right to the face.

Nice. I got lucky and got the chassis for a really good price. W/o scope, my build is about 700. Still looking for barrel so itll end up about 1k w/o scope.

The same configuration? Including XLR stock, folding adapter, tactical bolt handle. If yes, then you really got lucky, if just chassis with Ar15 stock on it, just $100 difference, still good saving, but not that much luck.

Nice build! Btw how do you like that grip? Why other grips do you prefer for comparison? Does it feel big / small?

Thanks!

I have this grip for couple of years. Before it was installed on AR 15, now I moved to Stealth.
Initially she was feeling little bit too big, then I tuned her to my liking, cut some material off to perfectly fit to my hand and fingers. Material is considerably soft and it didn't take a lot of time. After coarse cutting and smoothing surface, I just bead blasted. Now it fits perfect and I love it.

It is my dream now.
Hopefully soon I will be able to try her on Piru Gun range. They have paper target up to 400 yards and gongs up to 1000.
I will report results once this happened.

Finally yesterday had a chance to try her @1000 yards.
We went to Piru lake rifle range.
Started from 500 yards 2 shots-2 hits. 600 yards 5 shot 5 hits. Then I moved to 1000 yards. Shooting was 10 degree slop up, first round was about foot to the right. Check all conditions and local guys told me that there is wind on the top of hill. So entered number (approximately) and after that every single shot was hit. It just become non-changeling LOL
I have my friend as a spotter, so he was confirming hits or misses. At some point I don't believe about hits and shot 2 feet right (didn't let my spotter know I am missing) and right away he told me-miss 2 feet to right. I am completely surprise with rifle/ammo/calculator combo. Bullets were flying as on rails.
Even let my spotter shoot 10 rounds on different distances, telling what to use on reticle, and he was hitting every single time.
Target on 1000 yards were two sizes 24 inches and 18 inches diameter (I think, not sure 100 %).
Here are some pics from range and screen shot from calculator

iStrelok Pro from Igor Borisov. It is completely useful. I have zero expirience for shooting longer than 300 yards, and I was able to hit with rate close to 90%.

I'm surprised that range has their 1,000 yard distance so close to the top of a hill. What if someone shot over the top?

I did some modifications over the time and now she looks like this

My latest achivement is to chop off half of the cheek raiser. I removed rubber cover, cut raiser in half with small offset (to have two options-more or less) and covered with new foam rubber cover.

And I still have second half of cheek raiser "more". I do not decided yet which one is better
