Default CCW Instructor recommendation for my daughter

My daughter (mid 20s) has expressed interest in getting her CCW. She's a novice, having only gone to the range a couple times with me. Does anyone know a good instructor in Placer County (Auburn area) who teaches women's classes?

A friend had recommended Dennis Bartoldo, but I found that he passed away last year .

Mods: I wanted to create this in Permit/License To Carry Training Classes & Experiences, but When I try to create a new post there it redirects to a page that says I do not have permission to post in that forum. Please move this post if appropriate, and if there is an issue with my account, I'd appreciate anything you can do to fix it.

As a CCW instructor who has volunteered at many CGSSA Women On Target events, I think she should take more than one class. She should take a good beginning handgun class or two and then take a CCW class once she feels comfortable and competent with her firearms(s). IMHO, a CCW class is NOT the place to learn to shoot. BTW, I had a 22 year old lady and her uncle in my class yesterday. She had no problem qualifying with her G19 and after she qualified, a few of us offered to let her try our smaller carry guns just to give her a little more experience with a few models before she buys something else.

I agree with the other comment that she should probably take at least a into to handgun class first. I have used One on One Firearms in Rancho Cordova for a couple classes including CCW. I don't think they have any women's only but they are really good. Always been a few women in each class https://oneononefirearms.com/

I agree. I figured that she'd start with a beginners course. I'm hoping to find someone that she can be comfortable with. She isn't one for group events. However, it gets me thinking about doing a family group with my wife, me and her. That is if I can keep my mouth shut and let the instructor teach them (and me) ;-).

Come on down! I don't often get a chance to do a beginning handgun class but, I have one scheduled for a husband and wife this coming Friday. They want more/some training before they apply for their CCWs. I can squeeze two more in if need be. I wish I had plans to head up your way soon. I don't get to visit the family cabin in King's Beach often enough.
