Man, W.C. made it a bare bone permit with major hoops. 2 year, 2 handguns, mental health evaluation.. about $700/2 years with hoops, to exercise my Right? IDK??

There have been fee's for ages. Don't you think someone would have challenged it already?
CA isn't the only State that has CCW fee's.

True but when the average is closer to $100 total, Ca is closer to $800. Even SCOTUS mentioned reasonable fees..

I don't know how to came to an average of $800.
San Bernardino County is $397. Far from $800.

That is the TOTAL fees for San Bernardino.
They do not require a psyc evaluation for everyone.

So, been discussing this with my wife. We're both going to apply at the same time. We're also in contact with FPC & GOA. Going to contact CRPA as well. We plan on filling a lawsuit if the city does seek social media history and the psyc evaluation. Those are a no go under Bruen.

Here is the fee breakdown for West Covina. LaVerne has the same fee structure and CRPA just sent a letter to them. I forwarded them West Covina as I mentioned.

I received a response from the CRPA attorney who is going after LaVerne. He's going to look into West Covina next.

Mr Moros has a valid point IMHO,

$398 into the pocket of a vendor.

I have serious doubts if that is even remotely legal.

In 1924, Ca state Gov placed the responsibility of CCW issuance on LEAs.

Making it THEIR DAMN JOB. Which every taxpayer in Ca already grossly overpays them for doing. Then they contract away their responsibility. And DOUBLE DIP CHARGE citizens for doing it.

We as citizens need to urge all of our 2A orgs to file suit against all of these egregious CCW FEES.

The right to vote is covered by;

And again, in the 24thA. But NOT UNTIL 1964.

And POLL TAXES were struck as unconstitutional. [even though the RTV], is not one of the few "ORIGINAL enumerated rights" included in the BoR.

The 2A is definitely an "ENUMERATED RIGHT". And [McDonald v Chicago] incorporated it as covered by the 14thA, as applying to ALL CITIZENS. After a hundred years of "infringements".

Mr. Moros received a response from La Verne. They are going to reexamine the fee structure.. I asked him to press West Covina, Baldwin Park and Clairmont and if he needed a plaintiff, I will be one.
