![]() First item: much of the as-applied law on CCW is administered by your ISSUING AGENCY, hereafter "IA". So, when you ask a question here, including which agency issued (or may issue) your CCW is critical, and really should go in your thread title. There is a sticky thread here that includes the actual Penal Code governing CA CCW - http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=388997. That thread also has a list of Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs - and answers. These are pretty much applicable to all licenses, not limited to the interpretations or whims of an IA. Quite a number of things are simply not mentioned in CA law, and are left to the discretion of the issuing agencies. So, your first resource should be the CCW unit of your IA; they'll tell you things like what contacts with law enforcement they want reported to them. If you have IA-specific questions you want to post at Calguns, please try to use the existing threads in the next forum 'down', http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/f...play.php?f=116. Note that many questions have been asked and answered in those threads; it's unlikely that your situation is unique, so please read the threads. --------------------------------------------------------- It's possible 2022 or later may bring about changes to conform to the SCOTUS decision in Bruen. But that's not automatic; individual lawsuits challenging the provisions must be filed and won, Follow those suits in the CA 2A Litigation Forum, http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/f...play.php?f=330
