Williamson Valley here and SVT40 has organized a couple of range days in the past. There have also been a few breakfasts in Prescott over the last year.

At this point I think there are ~15 Calgunners in the area, but there might be more.

We have 100% settled on the area as the location of our next (and hopefully final) home.

Prescott... The last range day we met out at Contreras Rd 1/2 mile north off of Iron Springs Rd.

It's a big enough place to allow for a good number of shooters as well as parking. Someone needs to get there early in the AM to hold the spot.

I have 10 acres in Paulden I plan to move to as soon as daughter graduates college this year. This Gov is thing might delay it a bit. I have to see what the housing market does when it's all over.

Escrow should close in the first week of November on our new home in the Forest Trails area of Prescott. Appx 1/2 mile from Thumb Butte.

After visiting the area several times a year for the last few years, I'm still a little shocked and amazed that its finally happening!

Congrats! That is a pretty nice area and and if you are into hiking/Mtn Biking, it connects up with the Spence Creek Basin trail network as well as the trails around Thumb Butte.

The forest is still closed to shooting due to fire risk. We did not have enough monsoon precipitation to alleviate this. Unknown when it will reopen.

As soon as you get here make an appointment with the folks below to get your AZ plates. Theyíre a 3rd party service that handles DMV services. Theyíre quick; youíll have your new plates in about a week. They have an office in Prescott.

Probably different during the scamdemic...
Two years ago I walked in to Bullhead City MVD, no appointment, transferred five vehicles. Done in 10 minutes.
My CDL was another story.

Thanks for the tips on motor vehicle stuff - I presume AAA is also an option as well for the vehicle registrations.

Actually, AAA doesnít do vehicle registration stuff in AZ, at least that what they told me when I asked. Thereís an office downtown.

Also, itís the law that donít pay a deductible when getting a damaged windshield replaced in AZ (damaged while driving.) Iíve had mine replaced once and my neighbor has had his replaced four time. My AAA agent said she used to do it annually when she had her jeep.

That's probably why most, or all, insurance companies will encourage you to get one of those chip or crack repair jobs for free.

I told AAA I wanted OEM glass for my Honda and they gave it to me, not sure what other insurance companies do.

I hear the proctology department at the Thumb Butte Medical Center is fantastic.

Let me see if I have this right.

(slightly smug look on my face...)
I live in the East Valley...

Still in the hotel in Gilbert/Mesa. Somehow only managed to take the walk across the street for Rudy's BBQ twice in almost 2 months. Escrow started today on the first home in my eventual real estate empire.

The irony of that statement is that once COVID calms down I actually do need a good recommendation for a colonoscopy!

Tri city surgery are doing colonoscop's now. Dr nelson...

It's a private center. Great people. I had mine done there a few years ago, and a hand surgery too. All we talked about during the hand surgery was building AK rifles.

Congrats on the move!

^^^^If you need a hand with a colonoscopy, I’m sure from their office window you can see thumb butte.
Gotta check the calendar, might be time for another.

I'm in one tri-state corner.

Then there's 4 corners.
