Default 22lr at Dicks on Sports Arena

I was just there and got really excited until I saw the price. Definitely not where you want to stock up but if you need it they'll have it for a while at that price. They've got a lot. 26 grain 1650fps hollow point tin.

Last night, I found a few boxes of Remington 22lr HP at the Wal-Mart in Murphy Canyon. Probably gone now, but if I'm finding it at 9 PM (for the first time, actually), I'm hoping that means that supply is finally catching up.

Gunfighter tactical (formerly wiser owl) has some 22lr in stock. I bought some armscor, and some mexican stuff called CI there yesterday. Both shot well. The armscor 50 rnd boxes were around $7 a box and the mexican stuff was about $6.50. Looked like they had some 500 rnd boxes for 11 or 12 cents a round but i wanted to try the mexican stuff before I was stuck with 500 rounds of it. I didn't have any issues with it at the range this morning so I am going to go back and get some of that bulk while they still have it.

I drove by that place the other day. I didn't even know there was another shop in EC.

Wal-Mart on Aero drive had 5 Federal 550 round bricks of .22 about half an hour ago. Probably gone by now.

I picked up two, could have bought three, but wanted to leave some for a Calgunner in need.

The only local store in San Diego that sells reloading equipment and supplies I know is LMC Ammo by Discount Gun Mart on Magnolia.

http://www.lmcammo.com

There's also the "Private Reloading Sales" classifieds in the "Ammo and Reloading" section.

La Mesa Collectibles (in Santee, oddly...) has a great stock of reloading supplies.

I give up on trying to find ammo deals in San D. It's all so ridiculously overpriced. I just look for free shipping deals on slickguns.com and gunbot.net

On that note: Parallax Tactical actually had 300 BLKOUT ammo for a $1.50 a round!

The Aero Drive walmart won't be having any ammo except the 100-pk of shotgun shells for a while. Their lockable shelves were empty, I asked the lady and she said they are getting a new cabinet but it might be a couple of weeks.

They also had some 22lr, Federal automatch 325 round boxes for ~$35.

I'm guessing the 22 is gone at aero by now? I'd like to stop by.

Yeah, it's all gone. No pistol or rifle ammo left. I know everyone is hard pressed for 22lr right now and everyone is selling bulk stuff for .10/round or more. I have some minimags that I'd be willing to sell to members here if anyone needs it without over paying. I'll have to check but I think I have about 800-900 rounds.

I've seen 9mm but too much for me. They had wwb 50 rounds for about 18 bucks.

the one by me (rosecrans) always seems to have a good amount of pistol ammo in stock although it always seems to be $3-$5 more than what it usually cost elsewhere. Guess i Might have to resort to supporting DGM for their ammo

edit* someone teach me how to reload!

By the time you pay for parking and admission then you are at about the same price as ordering online with Hazmat. Plus the time that you spend.

I've got a bit bored with going to the gun show. Always the same old things and often do not have the reloading gear that you need.

There was nobody around to collect parking fees during the last hour on Saturday. I do hate paying tax though.
