What upper receiver do you have? I had this issue with Pmags once and someone suggested the upper wasn't compatible with my aero lower, Sure enough After buying an Aero upper my issues went away as the BCG rode slightly higher. I had A DPMS upper on it when I had issues. Maybe this is your issue as well?

When using the DFM magazine... don't you have to use their DFM bolt catch so that it tabs don't rub against the bolt catch?
I don't use the DFM mags but I recall people reporting BCG issues that was fixed by using the DFM bolt catch. NB |

Other fixed mag options if you can’t get it to work? I have a featureless M5. Considering putting the new and lighter PRS stock and pistol grip on it.

This kinda tells me the DFM is sitting too high. Are u sure its seated properly? Did it clear the bolt catch and lock in place?

Glad you posted! I had the exact same problem. I set a dremel on slow speed and very slowly worked the "ears" of the DFM. I tried to seat it, saw where I had excess material, and then slowly worked it some more. After about a dozen iterations, it seats like a champ and works as intended.
I just chalked it up to dimensional variances. |
