Default Black Packs at Cabela's and BP now $42.49

Seems like it's part of their cyber monday sale. I think that'd match Fleet Farm's BF price.

Not including taxes... and before any gift cards, etc, you're looking at:

22lr - 2.7 cpr

9mm - 12 cpr

223 - 20 cpr

.45 - 20 cpr

Unfortunately, the 223 still has a $20 hazmat fee...

42.50 - (5% MD/$2.11) - (20% GC/$8.50) - (2% AJ/$0.80) - ($12.50 Rebate) = $18.59 not incl tax

Comes out to 7cpr for 9mm or 12cpr for 45

This has to be the best bells n whistles deal in years. For anyone that held on to their GC's this weekend, i believe its time to turn'em in

Maybe this is old news but it doesn't look like Cabelas would ship to any address in CA. I'm just glad I checked before I bought those GC on Raise.

Good point, if only I'm closer. Thanks though.

Also what's the 5% (MD) discount in your earlier comment? Is that the cabela's membership?

"For anyone that held on to their GC's this weekend"

but i think others were getting them from raise for something near that, and if they took part in the rinsing for 10% gc's then they'd easily break over 20%. it was pretty common knowledge on the deal threads over the last month

I had the same issue with Sportmanswarehouse.
Their online inventory is whacky.
Twice I ordered 9mm black packs with the online showing in stock, ready to pick up at store (Milpitas) and twice the order got cancelled by SW the day after.
The I looked into buying a brick of CCI std velocity 22lr, it showed in stock, put 20 in cart, went to pay and it indicated with a notice that only two boxes (of 50) were allowed to be entered because of stock issues....

So, their e=commerce stock coordination is spotty.

Otherwise, I did get other orders fulfilled after waiting for shipment from Utah to the local store...

First world problems eh?

Default How Can Bass Pro Even Exist?

I don't understand how Bass Pro can even exist, much less be so successful. As far as I can see, everything about them sucks. I rarely see anything there at a good price, and I am not impressed with their service. How can they make enough money to buy up chains like Cabelas?

I ordered some of the Winchester ammo cans Black Friday, ship to store at BP. (I know, the Federal Black Packs are cheaper, if they have your caliber. I wanted .40.) Took forever to get notice that they were ready to pick up. Go to store today to pick them up. All paid for in advance, mind you, just pick-up. I waited for 30 minutes at the ammo counter, while there were only two people ahead of me. Tons of help in the store scurrying around, almost no shoppers there. Maybe someone could pitch in at the ammo counter? Nope. Then once I get to the head of line, another ten minutes to get my stuff from the back. 40 minutes altogether. Geez.

I only went there to use the last of my C's gift cards. With the original 20% off and one rinse cycle, plus the rebate, the ammo was pretty good price. But I don't think I'll be going back.

Mine is still in the warehouse after shipping label printed on 12/09. It looks like I will miss the rebate deadline.

Just curious how long it took to deliver your ammo to store.
