Default Burris Signature Zee rings on an AR

I was thinking about using Burris Sig. Zee rings on an AR for a higher powered (16x, 40mm) scope instead of the more common aluminum cantilever mount. Any pros or cons to using one over the other?

It should have enough eye relief if using an A2 stock and shooting off the bench. Prone may put you pretty close to the scope ocular lens so you might want to test it out first.

I use them on several uppers that only get shot offhand or benchrest & they
are great for that. I do prefer to use those 1/2 riser rails in addition. Its more comfortable to me using a more head upright position. One of mine has a
Sightron SIII 10-50x60 on it (shot benchrest only).
