Not sure what the problem is, but if recoil is a problem, I suggest trying one of the extended 7-rnd magazines as it transmits far less recoil and allows an extra finger to wrap around the grip.

I have to say that I love my LCP and shoot it well because apparently as a senior citizen, I'm less sensitive to the pain that these guns are said to produce.

Too many nice looking 380s posted - have to do something about that ...

The Husqvarna has a 9mm Browning Long barrel original to it. I've used the 380 barrel most, but Browning ammo was easier to find and less expensive ($19.97 per 50) for a while.

Attachment 1061758

A High Standard that's not 22 lr - the GB380.

there was a time you couldn't get a solid 9mm compact type gun for everyday carry, you had to go with the .380's - a lot has changed in the last 25 years of small arms manufacturing - the wide variety of compact carry 9mm's has made the .380 impractical for carry

this Beretta Cheetah was my everyday carry gun for several years back in the 90's - still own it 30 years later

more recently i bought this Walther PPK just because i wanted it

Little 1988 production Colt MK IV Plus II I got earlier this year as a total rust bucket. barrel was shot. ended up getting a good condition complete SS slide and refinished the frame. still need to bead blast the slide and do another coat or two of Aluma-Hyde on the frame but shes a nice shooter now. I know it needs a cleaning, I'll probable end up finishing it up tomorrow and update pics.

Got this one a few years ago, very incomplete with Pachy grips and some freckling on some small parts. Slowly got it back to original configuration with new small parts and some factory grips. Antiquated by today's standarsd, but pretty fun!

Thanks! It has been a long road with this one. I first wanted a BDA-380 back in '84. I still have the 1984 Browning Catalog I circled the bda in. By the time I could afford one, I couldn't find one, then the roster happened. Finally, 35 years later, I found this one locally in maybe 80% condition. After three years of hunting down parts and grips, its not to shabby. Finding grips with both original medalions was a chore.

How do you like the hogue rubber grips? I?ve been told that they make the gun very thick + at times It can make It harder to access the safety/ magazine release buttons

What is ur experience?

Never had a problem with those grips, though they do make it a bit thicker in the pocket. Unfortunately, both that pistol and the P238HD have gone down the road.
