Default Utah online renewal

Wife and I got our Utah permits today. We did our online renewal on 11-2-19 with no problems, got them today. Pretty fast I think.

How soon before the expiration date did you do the renewal?

They expire (old ones) on 12-11-19, we did them 11-2-19. Utah did send a renew letter on 10-12-19 letting us know it was time.

UT has a 30 day grace period w/o a late fee. After 30 days up to 1 year you can renew with very small fee.

Yes. We had "passport quality" pictures taken. Scanned them to the laptop and off we went. You do watch a video about firearm safety, suicide, etc. It is a very sobering video, talks about Utah is fourth (iirc) in the nation with firearm related suicides. We thought the video should be shown in schools, another topic for another day. At the end pay your $25.75.

Utah is a great state. When I attempted to renew my Utah permit on line, there was some small error. They called on the phone and we got it corrected. Cannot beat that level of service.
