Default New/Exciting Firearms Outing or Experience!

With the world in disarray, I just want to share and hear about some fun shooting experiences! If you have learned something new, or tried some new equipment and loved it, This is the place to share!

I bought a CA7 Bolt action and I have to say that I loved shooting it, it was a workout, I would break a sweat when I went to the firing range, I didn't go through a ton of AMMO and it felt like a workout and an accomplishment.

I then bought a CMMG 9m upper to slap onto the AR, but I had to wait until I Maglocked the CA7.

FINALLY, I got to go to the firing range and shoot my new baby....wait....that didn't sound right.

IT WAS FLIPPIN" A-W-E-S-U-M!!!!!!!!! (awesome) OMG, 10 rounds is not enough for a magazine, I totally get it....when all you want to do is shoot and you have to stop and pull a pin and separate the action and then drop the mag, 10 is not enough!!!

The CMMG upper and 9mm conversion mags ran flawlessly, I was so excited!!!
I just want to take classes, Tac class, Home Defense class, Cleaning my fire arm class, putting a firearm together class.....I just want to learn, more!

I went from Revolver Girl to AR girl!!! Loving it!!!!

Please share some firearms "Happy Times" in the past few months

see.... there's a good reason why the commie at sacto limit us with 10 rounds because of people like you! to give you time to cool/slow down.

glad you're having a blast skybot. my wife is a slow shooter like me. we both like to see where the bullet is hitting. i also bring the gong and pop ups when we go to the range because sometimes we just want to hear the steel rings and she likes that very much.

I love hearing stories like yours

My intro into guns was when I was about 3 yrs old and my dad would buy me toy shooters instead of dolls.
Over 30yrs later and I still get really excited when it is range day, training day, even clean them day!

just got a new Glock 34 Gen 5 MOS! Seems that anything off roster makes me smile!

This is my first semi auto hand gun not counting the CA7.

Took it to the range to play! Very fun....but very expensive now...as I couldn't stop at a 100 rounds..nor at 150 rounds...200 rounds plus!!!

I am going to save up for a nice Trijicon but for now just sight and shoot!

I invited my cousin out to the range. She's been wanting to get something for herself, but unfortunately due to Covid the rentals are unavailable. So, I emptied the safe for her and gave her some options to think about. It was a lot of fun and the range even had 9mm in that day.
