So true, so true. It was a disappointing outing on my end. Especially after all the prep and money spent to get a new generator for the trailer. But the worst part was realizing I left the target stands sitting on the car trailer at home.

Problem with pink is all the idiots on the range see red and think it's pink, then pack up and leave.

At the end of the day, for the last 4 shoots, there's always been some unlucky guy (with his kid) who's targets get shot to Sh*t.

Making "community" targets something extreme leaves no excuse.

I like that. The last two I went to I wasn't sure if the painted targets were community or just painted by the owner. I would rather it be quite distinctive.

Yellow might be tough to pick up. What about fluorescent green? I donít think Iíve seen that out there yet.

I am bringing a 3/4" x 18" x 24" that will be for community use. What ever color is determined community color, hopefully somebody will have some at the event. And am so looking forward to seeing everybody again.

Vick-- 1 3x shirt please?

I think red & white are the most common colors for steel, so my vote would be anything other than that.

In keeping with the theme, what about Zombie Green?. I just don't want to buy ~10 cans of green paint and them not be used.

Go for the green! I can buy some too if you need.

Mine have been painted white or blue and get shot like they are community. There are people that just shoot at anything and don't bother to even ask. It's going to happen.

Yea it does but it's not cool when people come out with kids and are using 1/4" for 22lr and you have DB's poking holes in them with AR's and Mosins at 50-100 yds. Seen it doing a few RSO stints. Usually the same people that come out, don't set up targets, and leave spent shells. A very small number and I'm sure not CG'ers. We can't treat this location like some BLM outpost, because it will be gone.

Exactly. I have no problem with people using my targets for the most part as long as they hit the target not the stand. It's just the not asking part that pisses me off.

As for people bringing out kids to shoot. They will get free reign of my targets, and ammo.

Hang fast targets are the way to go. With an AR plate you canít bring it down since itís hidden behind the plate. I hang one up for a community target at the long range station and it hasnít come down yet in 3 events.

I will be bringing extra fire hose like last year for people to use to hang targets. It hold up much better than chain by far.
