Default Glock + Wilson Combat

Has anybody used Wilson Combat for any type of frame work?

Obviously, WC does great work. I'm just interested in hearing whether he/she was happy with the feel and if they thought it was worth it (in retrospect). The Starburst stippling looks interesting and I'm getting tired of watching my Talon's move around the grip.

Is it aggressive / abrasive? (More than, say, Talon sandpaper--or something similar?)

Did it noticeably reduce the overall circumference of the grip?

Any other work done you'd recommend? Turnaround? Pricing? Etc?

Thanks.

This has been posted in the handguns thread before and it does look good.

Agreed. That looks hot. What does WC charge for that stippling?

I've had it done.

Not sure how it compares to Talon grips. The texture/grit is more abrasive than a Gen 4/5 grip, but less than RTF2 (closer to Gen 4/5). Definite improvement over stock Gen 3 texture.

No significant change in circumference that I can tell.

I had the thumb pads done as well, doesn't cost too much more so I recommend it. You'll have to figure out what other frame or slide work makes sense for you. You can always have the more common/basic work done later, and perhaps elsewhere for less cost (and possibly local to you to avoid shipping). If you decide to go with the WC treatment, you will call them in conjunction with sending your order form in. They will then quote you the turnaround time and return shipping. The net shipping cost can be a bit steep depending on how you go about it, but overall I'm happy with the results and would do it again.

I had the same thing done + a trigger undercut (no more Glock knuckle). WC is great to work with, from the product to the service. They quoted 4+ months for the work, and I had it back in less than 2 weeks.

It certainly looks respectable comparing to the butcher jobs out there.

Nice about time WC jumped into the Glock market. Two of my Glocks have the WC battle sights, I really like them.

Will report back when I get them returned.

Nice, and having multiple frames done is a great way to mitigate the shipping cost.
