Default Scalarworks PEAK Iron Sights: Any Calgun Reviews?

They're pricey at $240. I reckon I could spend even more on KAC folders but still. I was originally planning on just getting the front sight with a Midwest folder in the rear but the MOA adjustments don't match up, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyone have experience with the pair? I'd be using these as primary's until I slap a MRO up top. Is the sight picture very busy with a 1/3 co-witness? Grazie.

I have them on my lwrc di with 1/3 witness mro. It’s an awesome combo, the stuff those guys make is pricey but top notch quality wise. It’s subjective I guess but I don’t find the sight picture busy. The guys at scalarworks are super easy to deal with and respond unbelievably quickly even during the holidays.

I don't have any experience with their Iron Sights, but all of their mounts are of the highest quality.

I've never used the scalarworks, but the Daniel Defense A1.5 fixed sights are just as good as my RRA A2 NM upper and miles better than any backup/folding sight I've tried.

The only thing it looks like you're giving up is the finger adjustable front sight elevation and the rear sight aperture design. Since the DD sight set is is $120-130ish, those seem trivial features to save $100.

Lower 1/3 with fixed sights is pretty easy to get used to. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem, at which point you mark your rail where the sights were and pull them off. They can live in your range bag right next to the spare batteries and tools.
