Default Scope for 2 new rifles--700 to1000 yards

Just bought a Mossberg MVP in 5.56 NATO. Want to put a scope on it for 1000 yard shooting than is under $150.
Also bought a Ruger Ranch model American in 7.62X30. what would be a good scope to hunt elk/moose at 700-800 yards under $200?
Any ideas??

tasco or barska would be my choice. Cram of the crop
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

IDK, maybe Primary Arms? Lots of folks like their optics and their CS is great.

They have a $159.99 4-16x44 illuminated mil-dot, but it has non matching 1/4 MOA turrets

For $229.9 they have a FFP 4-14x44mm Mil/Mil that sounds pretty good.

I'd wait for the next holiday sale to get the best deal. Maybe Labor Day?
